Hang dry away from direct sunlight.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Vacuum mattress regularly using low suction.
If necessary, the latex can be spot cleaned with warm soap and water, a white vinegar and water solution, or using a mild natural detergent.

Side Sleeper

The mattress is so comfy!
EK and Serene were very patient and answered all my questions. The mattress is so comfy and the best selling point for me is that it is priced competitively in the market, considering that its 100% latex. Latex is hypoallergenic, so it's quite resistant to mold/mildew/dust mites etc! It also doesn't have toxic compounds (VOC etc)!

What is the difference between Marina and Athena?

Both mattresses use the same certified 100% natural Dunlop latex and modular construction. Marina has two interchangeable latex layers and a streamlined 15 cm profile. Athena has three layers and a taller 22.5 cm profile, providing deeper cushioning and more possible comfort combinations.

Choose Marina if you prefer a simpler, lower-profile mattress. Choose Athena if you want greater cushioning and maximum flexibility in adjusting your comfort.

Is a 15 cm mattress thick enough?

Yes. Marina is designed as a complete adult mattress, not a mattress topper. Its two natural latex layers provide both cushioning and support, and mattress thickness alone does not determine how supportive a mattress will feel.

If you prefer a taller mattress, deeper cushioning or more room for comfort adjustment, the three-layer Athena may be a better choice.

What are the standard configurations for each comfort level?

The latex used in Good Knight mattresses comes in 5 firmness levels: 1) super-soft; 2) soft; 3) medium, 4) firm and 5) Extra firm. Our standard recipe are:

Medium-soft: soft over medium

Balanced medium: medium over medium

Medium-firm: medium over firm

Firm: firm over firm latex

How long does the assembly of the Marina take?

About 10-15 minutes. We recommend having two people for assembly, but this is not strictly necessary.

Is latex mattress hot to sleep on?

Natural latex mattresses are naturally breathable and promote good air circulation, making them less prone to trapping heat compared to many other mattress materials. While individual experiences may vary, many find latex mattresses to offer a cooler sleep surface than foam mattresses.

Does natural latex sag over time?

Like all cushioning materials, natural latex will soften gradually with regular use. However, high-quality natural latex is known for its resilience and generally retains its shape and support better than conventional polyurethane foam.

Because Marina has a modular design, its layers can be rearranged or replaced if your comfort needs change without replacing the entire mattress.

What is the ideal firmness for me?

The role of a good mattress is to ensure that you sleep comfortably and get good spinal support during sleep. The ideal mattress for you will depend on many factors, including your physique, height and weight, and sleeping posture.

In general, side sleepers will like a softer mattress since their shoulders and hips push further down into the mattress. Stomach sleepers will sleep better with a firmer mattress while back sleepers will generally require a medium to medium-firm mattress.

The benefit of a Good Knight mattress is that you don't need to stress about it. Start with your best guess. Then change a layer for free without the need to return and buy a whole new mattress.

Do you customise mattress sizes?

Yes, in fact, we specialise in custom mattress solutions for our customers. We can customize the size of your Marina Mattress for an additional fee. All customised orders have a usual lead time of 2-4 weeks.

What's included with my Marina mattress?

Your Marina mattress comes with two latex foam layers encased in a zippered mattress cover.

What type of frame can the Marina be used on?

You can use your Good Knight mattress on any firm, stable base in good condition. You may also use a slatted base but ensure that the gaps between the slats are between 5 and 7.5 cm.

Is Marina suitable for an adjustable bed?

Yes. Marina’s flexible, spring-free construction allows it to bend and move with an adjustable bed base. Ensure that the mattress and base are compatible in size and that the base provides sufficient, even support across the mattress.

Always follow the adjustable bed manufacturer’s recommendations for mattress compatibility and use.
